For a long time, in was just wearing the cheapest medical scrubs that I could get a hold of. I didn’t care much about the look, shape or feel of the scrubs. As long as I had scrubs to out on, I was ready to go. That was until my kids started getting older. Then the comments started coming fast and furious. “Mom, why do you wear pajamas to work every day?” Kids are blunt and say it like it is. That got me thinking, that it is high time that I start wearing better scrubs. After all, the last thing I want is for my kids to be embarrassed of their mother.
After trying a couple of different scrubs, I finally found what I was looking for. The most appealing brand of scrubs for me is the Dickies Nursing Uniforms . The Dickies scrubs have a great cut, great fabric and great pricing. They offer great styles and prints, so I no longer look like I’m wearing my pajamas. They even have a line that’s called Dickies New Blue. This line offers medical scrubs that look like a pair of jeans. The scrubs are made of a cotton denim fabric. They come in a couple of different styles and two shade of colors, dark and light. The first time I saw one of my colleagues wearing these pants, I seriously thought she forgot to put on her scrubs. So if you have a more lenient dress code, then the Dickies New Blue is a must have. It doesn’t get better than that. Besides for that line, I also enjoy the Everyday Scrubs. They make me look great and feel so soft. I feel as though I’m wearing pajamas, yet they don’t look like pajamas at well. I guess that is the best of both worlds!
